Ability: Suitable for individuals with Osteoporosis

This is a “Back to Basics” session, great as a follow on from beginners or you want a gentler class.

You’ll feel energised following this beginners’ 45-minute full-body workout.  We’ll start with a warm-up followed by exercises working through each of the layers so that you can listen to your body and progress each exercise when you feel ready to do so, finishing with stretches

Class Details

  • Class Size: Maximum of 12 participants
  • Recommended Outfit: Fitted t-shirt and leggings/sports trousers, footwear is not required socks can be worn for comfort
  • Equipment Needed: Chair if possible so you can be seated upright.

Since starting around 6 months ago. chair Pilates has helped to improve my posture, body strength and balance.

I was sceptical when I first started Pilates.  Yoga doesn't interest me because I can't do many of the manoeuvres and felt a twit and so I worried that Pilates would be the same.

Whilst I am currently unable to do mat Pilates, I was encouraged when Sarah-Jane agreed she could help me with chair Pilates instead.

Since starting around 6 months ago. chair Pilates has helped to improve my posture, body strength and balance.  What's not to like?!
